Tried to remove my data from Public Record Spy. The website states it can be removed through infotracer.com. I found myself on the site and asked to have my data removed. When I looked myself up again I couldn't be found; but another vendor says my info is being sold by Public Record Spy and the only way to delete it is through infotracer.com. Frustrating!!!

It appears as though this website has combined information from multiple people with names similar to mine. Wrong addresses, age, family, and income information. More mistakes than other similar sites and there appears to be no opportunity to correct the errors. Strong privacy concerns, especially because of the inaccuracies.

You stole original documents, and changed the ones in the computer around to make me look guilty. While you look innocent. You tell who to help me and who to go against me. You alter video and audio records. Just to get your way. I am innocent until proven guilty. Which you haven't proved a thing.

I have contacted these people several times requesting my personal information be removed from their site. I have just finished going through a very messy criminal court case against my ex. This case involved violence where my ex was able to find me using sites such as this. I am lucky to be alive and he is right where he needs to be. What does a person need to do to stop sites like this giving out personal information for a fee? I have googled my name in order to find out which sites have my personal information and have contacted them explaining my circumstances. hat more has to happen to me now that people are able to find out my location for a fee?

So are truth finder, been verified, seek verify and all the other ones. Not only has all of the info I’ve found on any of these site been inaccurate or false, it links people to me who should never have any association with me to me, and it does NOT have any up to date info.

What they show you is from years ago. I moved to a different state over a year ago and it still says I’m right where I was before I moved and that’s current according to them. Not only that... I’d do the one time charge for one report and somehow I started not only getting monthly charges on my credit card, but suddenly on my paypal and other credit cards of mine as well.

And this was monthly and for all 3 of them who are operated either by same organization or something because I never went to all three of them. However now I’m being charged monthly for all three of them on several cards and out of the umpteen times I’ve called to do something about it & made sure I canceled the subscription I never even signed up for, they still keep charging me.

OH......IT GETS WORSE

AS IF THEIR LACK OF BUSINESS ETHNICS IS NOT ENOUGH TO BE OF CONCERN, THIS COMPANY ALSO SELLS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION (Name, address, telephone, email, birthdate, etc.) I learned about this site after another company that monitors my personal, financial and background information, alerted me "Public Records Spy" was selling my personal information putting me at a high risk for identity theft and other potential problems/issues. This company provides me the service of contacting "Public Records Spy" and having my information removed. Which after my own observations and concerns once I visited the site incorporated with all of the negative reviews, "Public Records Spy" agreeing to remove listings and actually removing, might be a bit optimistic. This is the LAST company I want having this type info or wheeling and dealing with it. Well.......it has been approximately 3-4 months since I was apprised of this situation, AS WELL AS, 3-4 months of requesting my basic, personal information be removed. I have requested removal and the company I pay for this service has been diligently working for the same result. Nothing. Nada. Some one explain to me how it is legal for companies to sell my name, address, telephone number birthdate, and email address and I do not have a say so nor do I make a dime. This is MY personal information! Yet everyone or business has more control over the distribution than I. To add insult to injury, in the event a company sells my information, not only do I not get notified, I do not get a cut. Am I the only one that has a problem with this??

If ANY website is in the business of selling and/or bartering individuals' personal information without the expressed consent or agreement of the respective targeted person, then that's considered to be of a "morally destitute" character, no matter how monetarily profitable the company or agency may be! If a moral barometer can be used and applied randomly to common, hard working citizens, then the same or an exact moral standard should be applied to corporate CEO's and the like who wittingly endanger the integrity and reputation of the people whose lives they pilfer from by selling their vitally private and personal information.

Just because we're in a technological society where the information gateway is slung wide open for any slithering piece of knowledge and intel to enter and exit, that doesn't mean that we, as a society of equals and workaholics, should or NEED to put all information on blast. Some things are personal, or in the past, or plainly "private"... And to those individuals who thrive and live day to day exposing the private and personal lives of others via the internet...how would YOU FEEL if someone had a hidden camera in your bedroom and bathrooms, and began to expose your messed up anatomical features on YOUTUBE or WORLDSTAR for all the world to see. .

.including your unsuccessful sexual escapades, the abuse and neglect of your family/spouse/children? Not what you want the world to see, now is it? Okay then. .

.

there's always two sides to every coin, and what you put out there shall come back to you! Your *** can be exposed as well, trust and believe it can be.

anyone who enrages in advertising your name and likeness for their own business finances should be looked upon as a publicity criminal, and we all wonder why we all get over charged to peek.. as to say take them to court and direct your lazy senate to criminalize it

Public Record Spy is A JOKE

They have me listed as 2 people in 2 different cities in NJ? Also they have me listed as 2 different age ranges?? Then when you attempt to get yourself removed their is no way to opt out!! Is that even legal? I don't think so. I could not even send an email to the contact us without having to sign up again! OK! There is not way I am putting myself out there a third time to make matters worse than they already are! They do not list a phone number to contact them either from what I was able to find. They should not be able to list information that is not 100% accurate! It is a total JOKE! The site should be shut down!

Total Scam

Signed up for the "12 months Unlimited" HA! Tried a search, found required another $2.95 to "see" the detail...how is that "Unlimited"???? Oh, by the way, my account was charged TWICE by the seller. RUN DO NOT WALK away, and call Paypal if you used them and they will handle the case for you with Clickbank...which by the way is only open Monday-Friday. Like everyone else who has commented on this "service," I have learned a hard lesson today! In the future I will certainly check with Pissed Consumer, and others before purchasing ANYTHING online unless I know the company as reputable. I guess you really don't know what you don't know until you do. Best of luck!

Publicrecordspy.com is a rip-off!!

I signed up for "unlimited searches" at $49.95. Found out that "unlimited searches" means you can search any record, but to find the results on the record (any data at all) you had to pay extra each time. So, for each birth record, ie, you would have to pay $2.95 more to actually see the results on the birth record. The "unlimited searches" just means you can search all you want...just cannot obtain any information. AND, when I tried to get results in NV, the site kept taking me to New Hampshire results. After 27 tries, I gave up. This site is a total rip-off! They do not respond to questions other than to send you an email with a print out of how good their services are. Hope this saves anyone else from spending their money for NOTHING!!

I fell for the "$14.95 Report" scam.

After giving up my credit card info, I was prompted to "Click Here For Your Report". That click produced a different page, telling me to click for my report. After 8 or 9 similar (but not identical) pages telling me to click here for my Report, they finally dumped me onto a new search page, directing me to re-enter the same info all over again.

After that, I kept receiving "This Information Is Available" with a request for yet more money. The only new info I received for my $14.95 was an outdated phone number.

Contacting their phony customer support BS, some fake lady using the alias Sarah asked me to resubmit the information they already claimed they had, "in order to get my Report". The promised invoice for the $14.95 was never sent, nor did any Report ever materialize.

It is true this thieving crook changes his name to keep the unwary off his trail: publicrecordssafe.com is another alias for publicrecordspy.com and there are undoubtedly others.

PS: 'ClickBank' is nothing but a button on his website and is not a bank at all.

CAVEAT: STAY AWAY!

:( I too fell for this ridiculous scam--trying to help my mom find records for her social security papers. I had to call ClickBank and wait 10 minutes on hold to get a refund, for which I'll have to wait 48 hours...I hope this works out without someone stealing my ID or hijacking my payment account.

This is a ripoff!

Do NOT use publicrecordspy.com. Sure wish I'd read this page before I tried to locate these records.

Guest

Was almost ready to be swindled but checked out your site. Glad I did.

NO GO with this rip-off company!!! :)

Guest

Public Record Spy is a total ripoff. They entice you to pay by appearing to have information.

Once you pay, they may or may not have information, and if they do, you have to pay another fee. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE.

Guest

I was almost ready to click submit, then I just got a feeling I needed to double check what I was getting. I got this site by accident, but I am sure glad I did! Thank you for saving me $$ and frustration and time!

Guest

If you happen to fall for this scam...... call "CLICKBANK", explain the situation and they will refund your money.

Guest

I never received any information and was also ripped off. I reported it to the FBI Fraud Tip Line. Wish I would've read this before.

Guest

This service is a fraud, pure and simple. They entice you to buy their services by promising you results, but they they don't give you any.

When you complain and tell them you want your money back, they tell you that they are "a reputable business" (what a joke) and must pay their suppliers (as if any part of the fee you paid them goes anywhere but into their thieving pockets).

DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. IT WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Guest

So apparently I fell for this as well and would advise everyone to stay away from this company! I fell into the same impression that many others did about not being able to find anything.

Because of this, I googled the company and read all of these complaints from many people on many different sites so I began to worry. I called ClickBank and they refunded my money no problem like they get these complaints all the time. Because of this scam, I started to get worried even more because they now have my credit card information. If they are willing to scam people for a few dollars, what make me not think that they will scam your credit card information as well?

With that being said, I called my credit card company and explained the situation in which case they immediately changed my credit card information and overnighted the new card to me. Maybe I went overboard? Maybe. But at least I feel comfortable now that I will not possibly be a victim of a fraud as well.

By the way, you know this company is a scam when they change their name.

Although publicrecordspy.com is still active, they are also publicrecordssafe.com. BEWARE!

Biggest Rip Off--Do NOT Buy!

I read others Reviews after I had already bought....I know...BIG mistake! My complaint is same as many others...they make it sound like it is unlimited use for the yearly rate, but then you have to pay additional for every report you want on anybody. I guess the $59.00 is just to log in to there website, pay extra for anything else. I do not recommend anyone buying from this company and also without carefully reading all there terms and conditions, that would probably take a day to read, and think whatever goverment agencies we pay to look out for these type of so call deals look into this one asap.
